A Stage 1 remap is part of ECU remapping also known as Chip tuning is the process of modifying a vehicle’s electronic control unit (ECU) to improve its performance, power, and efficiency.

When remapping petrol engines, it’s vital to adjust the ECU software to increase air intake and turbo boost, along with advancing ignition timing. This combination enhances combustion, boosting power and torque.
